The aim of this research is to reexamine the philosophy of hijab in the Quran and Sunnah, emphasizing its moral and spiritual functions, and analyzing its impact on individual education, women's religious identity, and social cohesion. This study attempts to present a comprehensive and integrated picture of the role of hijab in individual and social life and to fill the gaps in previous research. The present research is descriptive-analytical and was conducted using the library data collection method. An interdisciplinary approach was also used to simultaneously examine the moral, spiritual, and identity dimensions of hijab. The findings show that hijab, beyond an apparent requirement, has a deterrent and educational role and strengthens moral virtues such as modesty, self-control, and social responsibility. In addition, hijab, as a tool for self-development and self-purification, strengthens the individual's spiritual relationship with God and is effective in shaping women's religious-spiritual identity and establishing collective values. The results also show that hijab is a multidimensional institution that is simultaneously effective at individual and social, moral, spiritual, and identity levels. Observing hijab is not only a religious and cultural obligation, but also an effective tool for promoting morality, spirituality, and religious identity in society. By providing a comprehensive and integrated analysis, this research can serve as the basis for future studies in the field of women, Islamic ethics, and religious culture.
