The purpose of this research is to examine the status and role of women in "Siraj at-Tawarikh" by Allama Faiz Muhammad Kateb Hazara. In addition to depicting the status of women within the framework of traditional and family roles, Kateb mentions them as symbols of patience, sacrifice, and resistance in difficult historical conditions, and highlights their profound impact on the upbringing of future generations. This research has examined this issue using a descriptive-analytical method and through library data collection. The findings of the research show that although Kateb has interpreted women mainly within traditional and family frameworks and has been influenced by patriarchal attitudes in some cases, he has always mentioned women as mothers and educators who play a major role in transmitting cultural, religious, and moral values. This issue indicates Kateb's concern about the situation of his time regarding the issue of women. The results of this research indicate that despite the great emphasis of the scribe on the role of women in educating future generations and their importance in preserving culture, he has not been able to transcend the social and intellectual limitations of his time. Therefore, this work, despite the respect it shows for women, does not present a comprehensive and independent picture of their place in history and society.
