Throughout history, human life has always faced various issues and challenges. If the progress of industry and the emergence of new technologies in the current era, despite the fact that it has provided relative prosperity and comfort to humans, on the other hand, it has also brought problems and challenges to human life. One of the most important human relationships is the relationship between family members. A family that forms the most central and important nucleus of a society. Within a family, the relationship between husband and wife is very important, and one of the most important relationships between couples is their emotional relationship. Therefore, in this research, an attempt has been made to investigate the effect of virtual space on the emotional relationships of couples. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytical and the necessary information has been collected and analyzed in a library and digital way. The result of this research indicates that not having enough information about the harms and benefits of virtual space, along with the lack of proper management of each of the couples in the use of this technology, causes a lot of moral damage to the emotional relationships of couples. Harms such as: mistrust of couples, increasing emotional distance between couples and family members, decreasing communication between parties, increasing divorce, promoting virtual love, neglecting responsibilities, weakening moral values. and the increase of illegitimate communication and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to express the ways of solving these damages and challenges.
