Education is one of the vital categories in human life that affects the worldly and afterlife happiness of the individual, family and society. According to the teachings of Islam, religious education can provide the basis for the realization of such happiness for humans. Therefore, the importance of this research issue has caused us to express and explain the role of the mother in the religious upbringing of children in the family by using the qualitative (descriptive-analytical) method and citing the narrative sources and Quranic teachings. It can be said that the results of this research show that mothers, due to the unique biological and emotional relationship they have during their child's pregnancy and infancy, play an essential role in their religious education. Because every person, in addition to hereditary and blood effects; He is also influenced by all his mother's thoughts, actions, emotions and moods. Therefore, the mother, as the first human trainer in the family, can fertilize and flourish the seed of belief and faith in God based on her child's nature and human nature. Also, by teaching and teaching religious rules and duties from a young age, prepare them for the age of puberty and perform Sharia duties, or be the best role model for your children in the family by being committed to ethics and avoiding immoral things.
